Emerald Angel Dahlias

As the owner of Flowers by the Emerald Angel, in Fremont, Michigan, and as a Michigan Certified Florist, I loved to grow flowers for my shop. It was exciting to have something unique, long before Dahlias became so popular. Operating my shop seems such a long time ago, and a career ago, since now, in present day, I am a Certified Financial Planner for a major investment firm. I had been growing dahlias for the past few years in my flower borders, and have loved them!  After moving to Manistee I had lots of space and started growing again. I joined the local garden club and was immediately smitten with dahlias. I jumped right in to growing them and now have over 400 varieties and still counting. I am the founder of Michigan Dahlia Divas, a FaceBook Group for Dahlia Lovers sharing the joy of the dahlias we love and meeting all the wonderful dahlia enthusiasts is an exciting part of the dahlia world!
