Hello! I’m Jacqueline “Jaye” Barends, owner, floral designere and flower farm grower at Emerald Angel Dahlias in Manistee, Michigan. I specialize in organically grown dahlias and other floral varieties for weddings, events, and custom bouquets, with fresh blooms also available at our farm stand and Flower Power on M22.

I welcome visitors for Dahlia Garden Tours by appointment or during special events, where you can explore over 350 exhibition varieties and discover blooms for every style and color palette — from elegant to whimsical.

In addition to flowers, I offer dahlia tubers each spring and run a breeding program for enthusiasts who want to grow and even create new varieties from seed. Caring for our environment is a core value, and all of my methods are strictly organic.
